After a brief closure of the Dillenburg cinema, the Dillenburg institution is enjoying great popularity again with its reopening on November 16, 2023. Under the new name "Movie Star Dillenburg", the cinema opened its doors under the management of Sylvio Verfürth.
The administration is now bringing a very special cinema experience for the whole family to the Dillenburg Winterzauber on Wilhelmsplatz in the city center.
On December 16, the cozy Winterzauber stage will be transformed into a cinema screen. From 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., "Pettersson and Findus - The Best Christmas Ever" (FSK: 0 years) will be shown there. A magical story about giving and receiving and the importance of friendship and charity at Christmas time will be shown.
While the youngest Winterzauber guests enjoy the movie, the adults can get their hands on all kinds of Christmas and winter accessories at the Advent market. The Advent market offers the opportunity to catch handmade decorations, hats and scarves as well as souvenirs from the Oranienstadt Dillenburg and the Donsbach Wildlife Park at your leisure from 12.00 - 18.00 hrs.
Additional seating, some of it covered, will be set up during the movie. The exhibition stands of the Advent market will be located in the wooden huts.
The day of action will be rounded off with a performance by the "X-MES Trio" - from 6 p.m. there will be live music from Dillenburger's exceptional talent Christoph Stoll.
