Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten

Description

Good news for all brass music fans in the region: "Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original" are finally coming back to Ransbach-Baumbach. You can experience the world's most successful brass band live on Friday, 24 March, at 8 pm in the town hall. At 66 years of age, not only does "life" begin, but for Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original, in the 66th year of their existence, it means continuing a style of music that not only attracts loyal fans to their concerts in droves, but also makes more and more young people discover the fascination of this music. This success of a professionally and live presented mixture of tradition and innovation is only made possible by the great passion that musicians and audience have felt together for this music for generations. Ernst Hutter, musical director of the world's most successful brass orchestra for more than 20 years, has taken the title of the new tour from an old Egerländer waltz to mark the current occasion: "Reach out to each other" is the name of the composition that orchestra founder and brass music legend Ernst Mosch first published on the record "Golden Egerländer Melodies" in 1963, exactly 60 years ago. The lyrics have lost none of their topicality to this day: "Strife and strife far and wide, that's the way the world looks, it's sad but true, and it gets worse every year," it says. Especially in the times of the pandemic, many have experienced how important it is to appreciate others, and this is exactly what this waltz picks up on: "I appreciate you and you appreciate me, I help you, you help me too". This handout is lived out in Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original also through the integration of a young generation of musicians, here traditions are passed on and combine with the zeitgeist of today. The trombonist Ernst Hutter, who has been playing with Ernst Mosch since 1986, took over responsibility for the Egerländer Musikanten in 2000. To this day, the "Egerländer Open-Air" in Altusried - for the 10th time in 2023, by the way - and the "Egerländer Festwoche" in Leutasch, Tyrol, are among the annual highlights in the schedule. In addition, there is the "2nd Original Egerländer Festival" in Cologne, the "Woodstock of Brass Music", and the "Summit Meeting" with Saso Avsenik & his Oberkrainern in Schladming. The tour "Reicht Euch die Hand!" starts at the end of December in the Meistersinger Hall in Nuremberg and lasts with about 40 concerts until September 2023. The concert mixes contemporary new compositions, classics and hits, and the current tour motto is lived out with the waltz of the same name: "Nichts ist so schön, wie sich zu versteh'n, drum reicht Euch die Hand!"
