With the pithead tower of the Georg mine in view, the trail first leads through the forest between Willroth and the Gierender Bach stream. It continues through the Gierender Tal valley to the Hümmericher Mühle mill and then back.
The route is approx. 9 km long and of medium difficulty. The walking time is approx. 3.5 hours.
