The man with the storytelling voice par excellence, Christian Brückner, and "Das wilde Jazzorchester" once again perform the family listening concert "The Jungle Book" here! It is aimed at adults and children from about 8 years of age.
The original text by Rudyard Kipling will be performed in a redux version created by Rüdiger Ruppert with a cross-genre modern music by Martin Auer, which moves between jazz, classical, improvisation and oriental music. The project is a mixture of concert reading and improvised listening theatre. Composed pieces of music alternate in part with texts, but also mix with improvisations and background music. The versatile instrumentation, together with the warm smoky voice of Christian Brückner, the well-known actor and dubbing artist (of de Niro, for example) known as "The Voice", results in a unique live listening experience. By mixing different styles and bringing together European as well as many exotic instruments, a new world of sound and music is created that adds a whole new dimension to the well-known Jungle Book text. The project was funded with support from the Initiative Musik!
For ten years now, Jazz we can, Hans Ruppert's music project in the heart of the Westerwald, has been a guarantor of the finest, high-quality jazz music. The venue is usually his practice for occupational therapy in Bad Marienberg. This venue is appropriately large and the acoustics are of course just right. But he has also enjoyed using the Stöffel Park - especially the open-air stage, also known as the Basalt Stage - for several years.
