Something completely new: from old things! At Upcycling for children on Wednesday, 9 October 2019, bird feeding stations will be made from plastic bottles or milk bags (Tetra Pak). The action starts at 2 p.m. in the Stöffel Park.
We want less rubbish and more nature! On the way there Upcycling is the means of choice. It opens our eyes and makes us think. Because: Packaging can be reused well for beautiful things. This is sustainable and prevents unnecessary consumption and therefore waste. Our ecological footprints count.
It also makes it clear to every child that not every piece of rubbish is rubbish. We help the birds with the bird feeding station made of old plastic bottles. They can use it because there is an increasing lack of insects. Year-round feeding is therefore becoming increasingly important.
And a bird feeding station can also be a nice, practical gift.
Attention: The children should bring a milk package or a plastic bottle (which is not recyclable). But of course only if this would otherwise end up in the garbage. Please do not buy extra!
