For on the Rhine, on an old passenger ship that has seen better days with its crew, our singers are afflicted by this strange disease. With "Rheinweh", located somewhere between toothache and wanderlust, the 40 singers from Cologne's largest choir of gay men bring vocal power and a lot of movement to the stage in their tenth full evening programme. Kölsche Tön' and unforgettable Rhine melodies, well-known hits, classical sounds and current chart pop - all this is freshly and cheekily interpreted and presented in the usual magic flute sound under the musical direction of Carsten Wüster: sometimes a-capella, sometimes with piano accompaniment by Andreas Link.
