A mosaic of microclimates covers the low mountain landscape around Dillenburg. Topography, soil, plants, light and air influence the climatic conditions even in a small area. On your way through the landscape you will learn that you can often feel and locate the change to a different microclimate. You will discover the causes and learn about new, hidden connections in nature. During high-pressure periods in summer, microclimates can become so large and stable that you can move within them on this approx. four-hour hike.
