No day is like the other on board the Hurtigruten ships. Dramatic nature experiences along narrow fjord walls alternate with spectacular landscapes and the unique midnight sun in the north. Hurtigruten ships have been on the move for more than 125 years. The route was established to connect far northern towns with the southern parts of the country all year round, no matter what the weather conditions were. In other countries, you come to the coast or go away from it. But Hurtigruten never leaves Norway's long coastline. It sails at both ends, in both directions, always towards new experiences of nature. For Hurtigruten, a new channel opens up every day, despite narrow passages like Skjellanger, Steinsund or the legendary Raftsund.
