A tomato has to taste like a tomato ... and not just look nice and red. Manfred Durben, tomato expert from Hemmelzen, plants over 40 home-grown tomatoes of around 25 varieties every year and also breeds them himself. From 7.30 pm, he will be presenting his cultivation method and his best tomatoes for our region.
Beforehand from 6.30 pm + afterwards colourful seed exchange! Tomato seeds and general seed exchange for all participants. Here you have the opportunity to swap vegetable and flower seeds you have brought with you or to buy them for a small amount of money or a donation. Because now is the best time to sow tomatoes and co. yourself. Take courage, it's very easy ... and it's fun!
