Sonderausstellung Surreale Welten

Description

Surrealism is one of the defining art movements of the 20th century. Surrealism was not only an art style, but also an intellectual movement centered around the literary figure André Breton in Paris. From France it drew circles to Spain, Germany, Mexico and the USA.

Surrealism translated from French means "above reality". The goal was to create a superior reality that goes beyond what we see and includes the unconscious and dreamlike. The laws of logic and reason were suspended. The exhibition is not only a visual delight, it also stimulates the viewer's imagination and takes him to other worlds.

The most renowned artists of surrealism are represented in the exhibition:

Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, René Magritte, André Masson, Joan Miro, Man Ray
