The Wanderbühne Westerwald is pleased to finally be able to play theater again on April 22, 2023 in the Bürgerhaus in Driedorf. The new play "Barbed wire around the four-poster bed", written by Helmut Schmidt, is a comedy in 3 acts.
Alma, the mother of Heinrich and Fridolin, is a wealthy widow who has been tormenting herself for weeks with pain in her bones.
This plays quite well into the hands of her daughters-in-law, because of course they are already speculating on the inheritance of their husbands and have no interest at all in Alma being better off. Her doctor advises Alma to take a cure. The daughters-in-law try everything to prevent this. But.... Alma drives and comes back 4 weeks later as reborn and, to make matters worse for the children, has also laughed at a spa shadow, with whom she has allegedly already talked about a wedding. Now the children have to bring up other guns...
