Event
It's about Friedhelm Wunderlich, who has invited his fiancée to his home for the first time. However, Friedhelm has to keep his four wayward half-siblings in check to ensure that the bride doesn't make a break for it straight away. To make matters worse, there are also visitors in the house. A particularly strange character is sitting on the "Schässelong": Albert, who has supposedly taken a vow of silence.
While Friedhelm and his bride go to great lengths to be nice to him, Friedhelm's half-siblings are keen to make him disappear quickly. After all, they believe they have practically conjured up the dead-as-a-mouse Albert during a séance.
If you look in on the rehearsals in the Etzbach community centre, where the stage and a battery of spotlights have already been set up, it becomes clear after just a few minutes who is the victim here. Although he has no lines to learn, he has to put up with the funniest situations completely unmoved: Actor Ingo Neuhaus - after all, he is the corpse.
If you want to know whether he manages to keep a straight face: On Friday, 17 November, the new play premieres at the Bürgerhaus Etzbach. Tickets cost 12 euros (benefit performance 14 euros) and are available from Blumenhaus Pattberg in Etzbach, Buchhandlung Kuklik in Hamm (Sieg) and Dörner-Moden in Altenkirchen.
