Therefore, as we did before Corona in 2014 - 2018, we would like to remember children with congenital heart defects and their fates together with the Protestant Church and the Catholic Church in Waldbreitbach. In an ecumenical service in the Catholic Church of the Assumption of Mary in Waldbreitbach, we would also like to remember the heart children who cannot be with us on this day. About every 100th child in Germany is born with a heart defect. Through the Bundesverband Herzkranke Kinder e.V. (www.bvhk.de) with whom Marino Engels has been working together for well over 20 years, we would like to invite heart children with their parents to our Advent celebration in Waldbreitbach this year on 26 November 2022, taking into account the then valid Corona regulations. In an ecumenical service, Pastor Oberdörster and Pastor Hartmann will give us the opportunity to intercede for the children of the heart and symbolically hand them a new strong heart made of natural slate with the respective first names of the children of the heart by confirmands and confirmands from the parish. Afterwards, we invite all church visitors to a snack in the Catholic parish hall next to the church.
