All choirs of the Westerwald are invited to take part in the first choir festival of the Westerwald Choir Association in the Stöffel Park. It will take place in Enspel on Saturday, 15 June 2019, 14 to 20 hrs. The special: Singing on four stages in unusual places! Association choir leader Mario Siry has accepted the registrations. 45 choirs are present! They come from Dernbach, Villmar, Salz, Elz, Bellingen or Hellenhahn-Schellenberg, Hillscheid and Müschenbach, Stockum-Püschen or Montabaur ...
Singing will conquer the spacious grounds of the Stöffel Park. The open singing is aimed at children, women, men and mixed choirs. The open-air stage, the historical workshop, the Café Kohleschuppen and the museum building TERTIÄRUM are available to them. Inside and outside under optimal performance conditions.
On 15.06.2019, the Chorverband Westerwald organises a large choir event for all choirs of the Westerwald in the popular Stöffelpark. With the Stöffel-Park the optimal venue for a big festival in the Westerwald was found. The Geopark offers us very different rooms with extraordinary performance possibilities for all choirs. The venues offer good acoustics and space for many listeners. We also use the large nature open-air stage with great acoustics. In addition to choir presentations of large choirs we will use the natural stage for some open singing. For the children's and mixed choirs we have the famous composer Uli Führe, for whom male choirs Tristan Meister can win. Our young singers have the opportunity to get to know the successful children's song composer Uli Führe and to rehearse with him. We will also offer an entertainment program for the youngest singers. We hope that many singers will take part and would like to turn this choir festival into a big family choir festival.
We want to show that choir singing in the Westerwald has a high value within the local cultural landscape and that we are an active community. Registrations can already be sent to the association choir leader Mario Siry.
Who do we want to reach?
-We are looking for choral music lovers who would like to take advantage of a unique opportunity to experience and enjoy the entire breadth of choral genres and choral music,
-singers who would like to learn more about the diversity, repertoire and presentations of local choirs,
-Not yet choir members who can imagine spending their free time in a choir and thus counteracting our modern mental illnesses,
-People who would like to find out more about the Stöffe-Park and spend a pleasant day with around 1500 people playing music and in a good mood.
