Explore the Lion City
The historical city tour in Hachenburg is a cultural walk of a special kind. Consisting of the chronicles of a once flourishing trading town up to the devastating fires of the mid-17th century, during the historical city tour you will follow in the footsteps of the former counts and princes who resided in the town for centuries. During the 90-minute city tour, you will get to know some of the most charming sights in the Westerwald and the cultural treasures of the Lion City. Our guides will tell you numerous anecdotes and stories about the Old Market, the castle garden and Hachenburg's baroque castle.
We also offer this tour as a night watchman tour. In summer, this can be booked from around 21:00, while in the winter months it can start from dusk.
