The Vogtshof in Hachenburg - an accessible half-timbered house

Even when it gets cold, the virtual city tour remains cozy.
The Vogtshof in Hachenburg impresses with its slate-covered and half-timbered atmosphere. The history of the former bailiff's residence is eventful: formerly owned by St. Bartholomew's Church, it was later used as a post office and in 1976 was converted into a town hall with a tranquil library. After the town hall was relocated to another part of the town of Hachenburg, the upper floors of the Vogtshof were restored to their former glory in 2009. Today, it offers accommodation for festivities & events in Hachenburg. Access to the Löwensaal Hachenburg is barrier-free and can be accessed at any time with an elevator, making it suitable for visitors in wheelchairs or with disabilities.
