The new flyer "City Tours 2026" offers a comprehensive overview of the various city tours through the town of Hachenburg. It is aimed at both locals and visitors from afar who want to discover history, culture and hidden special features in an exciting way.
Various tours are presented - from classic public city walks, which take place every Saturday at 2 p.m. during the main season, to themed tours. The gourmet city tour, which combines the history of the city with culinary Westerwald experiences, is particularly popular. The offer is supplemented by individually designed tours for groups, companies, school classes or private events. The focus here is on personalization - the duration, meeting point and focus of the tours can be flexibly adapted to the wishes of the participants to make the discovery tour through Hachenburg an unforgettable experience.
There is also an exciting new product for the youngest visitors: the new edition of the popular children's city guide is now available. The updated version invites young explorers to discover the historic Lion City on their own - informative, child-friendly and full of exciting tasks.
Children can look forward to newly designed puzzles, games and hands-on tasks that impart knowledge in a fun way and turn the city walk into a real adventure. Young explorers can collect a stamp at the tourist information office at the Alter Markt for every task they successfully complete. Anyone who has collected all the stamps completes the "City Explorer Mission" and receives a prize as a reward!
The section with family-friendly excursion destinations has also been extensively expanded. Families will now find even more inspiration for joint activities in Hachenburg and throughout the Westerwald - ideal for weekend trips, vacation adventures or spontaneous adventure days.
Also brand new in the children's town guide is an adventure diary in which children can record their best moments in Hachenburg. It is supplemented by a separate friends book, which offers space for memories of new vacation acquaintances.
