The town of Hachenburg and the family center cordially invite all children to a special water games festival. The event, which starts at 2 p.m., promises a variety of refreshing games that will provide plenty of fun despite the possibly no longer quite summery temperatures.
The idea for this festival came from the children's city directors themselves. Their creative suggestions were enthusiastically received by Ute Fährmann from the Hachenburg Family Center and Timea Zimmer, the City Manager, and quickly implemented. Within a short space of time, a colorful program has been created that is designed to inspire the town's youngest residents in particular.
Numerous activities such as fishing, shooting cans and a specially set up car wash course for bobby cars await young visitors on the market square. In good weather and accompanied by their parents, the brave ones can even enjoy a water slide. But the educational aspect is not neglected either: at an information stand on water and sustainability, families can learn more about these important topics in a fun way. A knowledge quiz and a wheel of fortune provide additional fun and incentive. Other exciting surprises await the young visitors.
The town of Hachenburg is hoping for many visitors and sees this festival not only as an enrichment for the children, but also as a contribution to the revitalization of the town centre and the family-friendliness of our lion town.The water games festival is supported by funding from the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior and Sport as part of the "Innenstadt-Impulse" model project and is therefore the first measure from the funding program to be implemented in the town of Hachenburg.
