The occasion is the 20th anniversary of the district music school's recorder ensemble - an anniversary that is not only celebrated, but also brought to life in a sonorous way. Musicians present their impressive skills along the tour and impressively demonstrate how music connects generations. With great passion and musical diversity, they make the city resound at selected stations.
The sound walk combines history, music and culinary delights to create an experience for all the senses: while expert guides provide fascinating insights into the history and special features of Hachenburg, the finely tuned sounds of the musicians create special atmospheric moments. The old lion town of Hachenburg delights visitors with its picturesque, baroque market square - the Alter Markt, the lovingly restored half-timbered houses and the impressive castle, which towers over the old town as a landmark. Winding alleyways, old town walls and squares steeped in tradition tell of Hachenburg's eventful history as a residential town and cultural center in the Westerwald. After the atmospheric final concert, guests can enjoy a hearty Westerwald potato soup to round off the tour.
Whether music lovers, culture enthusiasts or friends of special city tours - this afternoon promises an unforgettable experience in a unique atmosphere.
