The Westerwald Lake District Development Association is delighted to present the newly published "7-Weiher-Weg" hiking guide - your ideal companion for unforgettable nature experiences in the heart of the Westerwald. Immerse yourself in the diverse landscape of the Westerwald Lake District and explore the most beautiful aspects of our region on carefully selected routes. The four different tours are called the northern section 13.5 km, the southern section 17.5 km, the "Schmanddippen" loop 10 km & the "Helleberg" loop 9 km. On almost 50 km of well-signposted and marked trails, nature has everything to make a hiker's heart beat faster.

The "7-Weiher-Weg" flyer contains a detailed map at a scale of 1:25,000, clear elevation profiles and informative explanations of the flora and fauna that bring the special features of the lake district to life. You will also find practical tips on regional restaurants and campsites along the way - for an all-round successful hike.

The flyer is now available free of charge at the tourist information offices in Hachenburg and Selters as well as at the campsites in Freilingen, Steinebach an der Wied & Steinen. If you prefer the convenience, you can also order it directly here.
