Tourist information offices also offer guided hikes in the Westerwald Lake District in 2024

The Hachenburg Westerwald Tourist Information Office and the Selters Tourist Information Office are offering numerous guided hikes in the Westerwald Lake District in 2024.

The hikes take place every Saturday at 2 p.m. from March to October from the parking lots mentioned above to introduce fellow hikers to the beauty of the nature and landscape of the Westerwald Lake District.

The hikes are accompanied by the experienced hiking guide Christel Forkmann, who leads the participants safely and competently through the region. Ms. Forkmann knows her way around and is happy to provide information about the special sights and natural beauty of the area.

Whether you already know the area or are visiting it for the first time, the guided hikes are an ideal opportunity to experience the Westerwald from a new perspective. The routes are varied and lead through forests, over hills and along streams and ponds. It is not necessary to register in advance. Please note that all participants take part at their own risk. Appropriate footwear is recommended.

The Hachenburger Westerwald Tourist Information Office will be happy to provide you with further information.
The schedule of guided hikes can be ordered by telephone (02662/9699760), by e-mail(info@hachenburger-westerwald.de) or online(www.hachenburger-westerwald.de).
