Trail sponsor (m/f/d) for the 7 Weiher hiking trail

Founded in 1975, the "Westerwald Lake District Development Association" is responsible for tourism development in the Westerwald Lake District region. The two municipalities of Hachenburg and Selters as well as the nearby local communities in the region are working on uniform tourism marketing beyond the boundaries of the towns and municipalities. The aim is to present the area, most of which has been declared a landscape or nature reserve, to locals and visitors from near and far in a beautiful setting.

Responsibilities:

  • 7-pond hiking trail: Inspection and clearing work along the 7-pond hiking trail including the "Helleberg" and "Schmanddippen" loops (approx. 47 km hiking trail in total) as well as checking the condition of the trail (ground surface) and arranging for any damage to be repaired.

  • Dreifelden/Steinen forest playground: upkeep and maintenance of the entire forest playground. This includes ensuring cleanliness, carrying out minor maintenance work on playground equipment and facilities, coordinating major maintenance work on playground equipment and facilities with the administration, carrying out a weekly routine visual inspection in accordance with DIN 1176, carrying out a monthly operational inspection with logging in accordance with DIN 1176, carrying out minor green maintenance work and coordinating tree care work, carrying out repairs to the gravel parking lot.
