In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
The circular route Hü4 initially runs through Oberhümmerich towards Niederhümmerich. Along wide meadows and fields, we pass Karlshof to the Weißer-Stein-Hütte. Here we turn into the forest and proceed towards the Fockenbachtal and then parallel to the Gierender Bach. Past the charcoal pile and a shelter hut, the varied path slowly leads us out of the forest. We enjoy the distant views along the meadows and fields until we return to the town and back to our starting point. The Landhotel Fernblick combines the wonderful wide view from the sun terrace with good food as a nature enjoyment host.
This is also the start and finish of the two GPS puzzle routes “Kupfer” and “Gold” covering just under 5 km through forest and meadows, lasting about 2.5 hours. Each route consists of 10 exciting and tricky puzzles. At the end, a treasure chest must be found and a numeric code cracked.
The game prerequisites are the waypoint maps and GPS devices, which can also be rented at the hotel (please reserve in advance, free of charge, ID card must be deposited).
