Description

This walk on the RP3 offers wonderful views of the climatic health resort of Roßbach, the extinct volcano "Roßbacher Häubchen" and the inviting Wiedtal valley. It leads us along the idyllic Wied river through the adjacent Wallbachtal valley. Again and again, benches with far-reaching views invite us to take a break. A short time later, we hike a little way uphill towards Spreitchen to the "Heiligenhäuschen" chapel built in 1818 and begin the descent above the Wied back to the parking lot.
