Detailed description

The cable suspension bridge in Helmeroth, newly built in 2010, leads over the Nister near the old Helmeroth mill. The bridge structure is made entirely of steel. It has a permissible load of 18 tonnes and, with its span of 36 metres, is the largest steel cable suspension bridge in the Westerwald.
