This accessibility statement applies to the website:

Tourist Information Hachenburger Westerwald is actively committed to digital accessibility in order to enable all users, including people with disabilities, to make optimum use of the website. We continuously improve user-friendliness and orientate ourselves towards applicable accessibility standards.

2 Accessibility status

2.1 Conformance status

Standard: WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
Conformance status: Partially compliant - Some content does not yet fully comply with accessibility requirements.

2.2 Known barriers

Despite our efforts, the following restrictions currently exist:

Videos: Not all videos have subtitles.
Solution: We are working on adding subtitles to all videos.

360° tour: Can only be controlled with the mouse.
Solution: The accessibility of the integrated widget is beyond our direct control.

Solution: The accessibility of the integrated widget is beyond our direct control. You can find a separate declaration on accessibility here as a PDF document.

Files in PDF format: are not yet available in accessible versions.
Solution: As these are many files that can only be adapted step by step, we are endeavouring to improve accessibility as quickly as possible.

Easy language: We are currently working on creating content in "easy language". 
Solution: The information is being added to on an ongoing basis.

Contrast: It is not yet possible to change the contrast.
Solution: You can set up your PC for more accessibility in just a few steps.

• Windows PC: Select the Start button and then Settings > "Ease of use".
• Mac: Select "System Preferences" in the menu and then "Accessibility".

Sign language: The website does not have a version in sign language.
