Hachenburg Swimming Pool

Jumping into the cold water on a hot summer's day, eating a dripping ice cream or a pommes red and white? These are those childhood memories of a day full of swimming fun at the Hachenburg swimming pool that are still fulfilled today. A visit after the outdoor pool season can be just as fulfilling: Taking a relaxing dip in the indoor pool while winter moves in outside.

Löwenbad Hachenburg

Swimmers, splashers and jumpers are greeted in the large indoor swimming pool by a 25-metre-long sports pool with an integrated non-swimmers' area. At the edge of the pool, a 3-metre diving tower stands out to give the brave a thrill. And if that's not enough for you, you can relax in the whirlpool, at the waterfall or in the outdoor pool. The Hachenburg swimming pool also offers a wide range of options for a visit with children, so that they can have a great time. Whether it's a paddling pool for toddlers or a 54-metre-long slide, there's no guarantee of boredom here.

Bathing fun guaranteed

Who wants to spend the summer in a darkened room at 27 degrees? The large outdoor area of Hachenburg's Löwenbad is the perfect refuge on hot summer days. The large sunbathing lawn adjoins the swimming area including a bathing bay with a current channel, a 25-metre pool and a wide slide. As a contrast to the water sports, the beach volleyball court invites you to play a round of volleyball. Because you're sure to get a little or a lot of hunger, the adjacent cafeteria has everything you need: Salty snacks like hamburgers, chips and salad or a sweet ice cream are the perfect feast to regain your strength after splashing around or strenuous swim training.

But if you think the Hachenburg swimming pool is just a place to relax, you are mistaken. A wide range of swimming and sports courses awaits bathers of all ages. The courses appeal to children and adults who want to learn how to swim or people who want to stay fit with aqua training. While the little ones bravely complete their seahorses, older bathers can train their movement in rehabilitation sports.
